Steps to Make Your Own Neti Pot

You can use any plastic bottle with a nozzle or a snout like a dish soap bottle or contact lenses cleaning bottle. Any sauce or a condiment container can also be used. The only requirement is that it should contain a nozzle or a cone so that it fits correctly into one of your nostrils.
Ensure that you have cleaned the neti pot thoroughly so that there is no residue left behind. The bottle needs to be very clean, as you will be using it to clean your nasal passage. Now you can add the water and salt solution to this pot and use it for the irrigation

12. Are there any dangers associated with neti pots?

Usually, the beginners are a little wary about practising the nasal saline irrigation. The picture of pouring the water into your nostrils might seem a bit overwhelming for them. Initially, you might find that instead of water running out of another nostril, it might enter your throat. If that is the case, then spit out the water and try not to swallow it. But do not panic. Neti Pot Therapy for Sinusitis

Sinusitis is a condition in which the openings of the sinuses are blocked due to inflammation of the inner lining of sinuses. The mucous is blocked leading to a pressure of the blockage causing pain. The symptoms of sinusitis are running nose and a heavy feeling in the head.

It is a known fact that the saline solution is very good cleanser for the nasal part. Neti pot provides you the right way of taking and emitting the saline solution. It is the most efficient and safe method to cleanse your nasal passage with salt and water.

By using the neti pot, one can clean the sinuses and breathe more easily and freely. The salt water or the saline solution, which is used with the neti pot, should be almost of the same concentration as your tears.
